History and Legacy of Bernard's Catering
In 1998, Bernard (BJ) Seal, Jr. opened his first restaurant in downtown Corpus Christi, Texas.
BJ owned and operated Bernard's Delicatessen serving thousands of meals to many of you. His passion for delicious food and "service with a smile" attitude will always be remembered by all who knew him.
BJ was a self taught chef who loved food and people; a perfect combination for a successful career in the restaurant and catering business.
First and foremost, BJ was my friend and we shared a common interest: Love of food and people!
My restaurant experience dates back to 1986 to the "The Rarity Restaurant" in Corpus Christi, where I worked as a table-side cook during my college days.

We, as a team at Bernard's Catering Company, are fulfilling BJ's wish: The business he loved and devoted his life building will continue to prepare delicious food and provide "Service with a smile"
